The life of Victor Buono was one of the shortest of any Hollywood actor who had a career as a major and sought after character actor. The unique actor was also openly Gay and freely lived with other male lovers and boyfriends at a time when homosexuality was still pretty much a taboo. Because of his large size, Victor Buono often played men much older than himself. At the age of 31, he was perhaps the youngest villain ever on BATMAN in 1966, playing the eccentric King Tut character. From 1958 until his sudden death in 1982 from a heart attack at the young age of 43, Victor Buono could play a wide range of eccentric characters as well as being a funny standup comic at times. For such a short life, Victor Buono cast a major impression as an actor. A true legend for his time….
