Chase Putting Limits On Target Cards

Chase Bank is rushing for damage control after it was learned that 40 million Target Cards are at risk because of a hacking incident. Chase is moving to limit transactions on Target Cards to limits of $100-$600, depending on the transaction to prevent any risk to accounts due to any possible fraud concerns, although no increase in fraud as been noted at this point in time. Chase could also limit ATM withdrawal amounts as well, related to Target accounts as another form of fraud prevention.  The security breach at Target couldn’t come at a worse time of year for the company because of the Christmas rush and peak sales season.
