Portland, Oregon got the opportunity to host it’s own version of the 2013 World Naked Bike Race with thousands of riders joining in once again this year. The event was also sponsored by the Portland Art Museum which set up a different 12 mile route this year which mostly avoided the normal yearly route through Southeast Portland, which was a little bit controversial with many riders as well as disappointed persons who look forward to this off-beat event each year, but otherwise the event was another smashing success. – In Southeast Portland along Hawthorne Blvd., there were even some young women in bikinis who were on the streets looking forward to the bike event, probably to drop their tops in support when the riders would come by. But, the unannounced change of route disappointed many people. The Portland Art Museum hosted an event that charged one dollar per clothing item as an admission price, so the less that those who attended this even wore, the lower the admission price was.
