Vogue included Jennifer Lawrence in their 120th anniversary edition honoring the 21st century’s hottest starlets. The 22-year-old starlet from Kentucky turned superstar with her turn as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. Now she’s getting big bucks ($10M) to reprise her role in the movies being made for the rest of The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins (Catching Fire and The Mockingjay).
The very fit star says she’s not into the size zero trend. Instead, she’s into being strong, fit and healthy. She told UK Marie Claire:
‘I’m totally normal. You see these 12 and 13-year-olds ordering salads with dressing on the side and thinking they need to be on a diet. I do want the stick-thin trend to end.’
She also told Seventeen: ‘I remember when I was 13 and it was cool to pretend to have an eating disorder because there were rumors Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were anorexic. It was crazy.’
‘I went home and told my mum, “Nobody’s eating bread – I just had to finish everyone’s burgers.”‘
Yesterday was Jennifer Lawrence’s birthday. Happy belated Birthday!
