The wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton isn’t the only Royal Wedding in the world. There’s one in the works in Bhutan, a small land-locked country in South Asia (next to India and the Himalayas, I looked it up). I can’t pronounce the names, but Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the King of Bhutan and is set to marry commoner Jetsun Pema later this month.

King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, 31-years-old, is very popular in his country and known to be a ladies man. He’s been nicknamed ‘the Prince Charming of the Himalayas’. Now 21-year-old Jetsun Pema is taking him off the market. The beautiful future Bhutan Queen is the daughter of an airline pilot and is studying at Regents College in London. Wangchuck was educated at Harvard in Boston.

The royal couple will be married on October 13th at the Punakha Dzong. Thousands have traveled to the small capital of Bhutan for a celebration of the marriage that will be held on October 15th.
