ESPN Magazine’s body issue is featuring Hope Solo on the cover this year. The 30-year-old soccer goal keeper posed sans clothes for the cover. Of course, the ‘body issue’ of ESPN magazine is about the body and others who bare it all in athletic poses for the magazine include professional halfpipe snowboarder Gretchen Blieler and New York Mets’ Jose Reyes, speed-skater Apolo Anton Ohno, Chicago Skys Center Sylvia Fowles and plenty more.
They all exposed fine form to say the least. Although, I have to say I don’t really like the Hope Solo photo. It seems like an awkward pose and doesn’t show her well-toned fit body to its best. Or maybe it does for the sports world and I just don’t know it.
Hope Solo barely made it through to the next round on this season’s Dancing With the Stars even though she has been receiving high scores and is certainly one of the best dancers. It was The Hills star Kristin Cavallari turn to be sent home. She was also one of the highest scoring, best dancers on the show. But as she noted when she left it show, it really isn’t a dancing contest.
So do you like the Hope Solo ESPN Magazine cover photo? Am I being too hard on it?
