Fans of The Walking Dead already have to wait until October for season two of the hit zombie apocalypse series, now news is breaking that showrunner Frank Darabont is walking out of the show. He will be replaced by next in line Glen Mazarra who has a pretty impressive resume of his own. But that doesn’t give a lot of comfort to the fans who are anxiously awaiting the next installment and their hopes for the show having a long run.
Rumor has it that Frank Darabont has been frustrated with budgetary concerns and how that would affect the series. His departure seems abrupt in light of the fact that he appeared at Comic-Con 2011 last weekend and never mentioned he was leaving ‘The Walking Dead’.
