The Royal Wedding Coin Photo

The British Royal Mint has reveals a new commemorative coin in honor of the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton. You can see a photo of the new Royal Wedding coin below.

Royal Wedding Coin

The Royal Engagement commemorative coin was made public in December 2010. Now we know the royal wedding is getting close since The British Royal Mint has revealed the Royal Wedding Coin (pictured above). The new coin is getting better reviews than the royal engagement coin, but its still not hitting it out of the park.

The general opinion seems to be that Kate Middleton looks too toothy and Prince William looks too spacey and neither looks like the persons they are supposed to be depicting.

The royal wedding coin was approved by Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and the government and will become legal tender on March 13, 2011. It is a £5 pound coin.

But we still don’t know what Kate has chosen for her wedding gown (or gowns!). More on the royal wedding.
