Mentalist Simon Baker Contract With CBS For $30 million
‘The Mentalist’ Simon Baker gets a contract with CBS for $30 million to continue his role as Patrick Jane in the hit CBS crime drama.
Simon Baker is definitely a hot property these days. The star of CBS crime drama ‘The Mentalist’ has just struck a deal with Warner Brothers television to extend his contract for $30 million. That includes the money his contract already called for and a deal that gives Baker more of the back-end profits from the show. He will also get producing credits starting in season five.
The Mentalist has been averaging 16 million viewers per show. In 2009, Warner Brothers sold the show’s syndication rights for $2.2 – 2.3 million per episode.
The Mentalist airs on Thursday nights at 10 pm on CBS.
