Ryan Gosling is on the cover of GQ Magazine for its January 2011 issue. In his interview he says that nobody in Hollywood has a ‘real job’, explaining why he worked in a deli after hit hit ‘The Notebook’.
I’d never had a real job,’ he says. The problem with Hollywood, he goes on, is that nobody works. ‘They have meals. They go to Pilates. But it’s not enough. So they do drugs. If everybody had a pile of rocks in their backyard and spent every day moving them from one side of the yard to the other, it would be a much happier place.
He also says that his mother still believes in Santa Claus.
Gosling has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Blue Valentine and covers GQ Magazine next month. He’s probably also moving stacks of rocks around in his backyard.
Here are his GQ pictures. Lookin’ good.
