Kurt Warner is off Dancing with the Stars. He and his dancing partner Anna Trebunskaya were eliminated from the DWTS competition last night. He left gracefully, big ham hands and all.
Naturally, Kurt Warner said he thought it wasn’t fair that he was kicked off the show last night, but honestly it didn’t come as a surprise to me. I figured he’d be next simply because of his low scores and the need for fans to vote. He seemed like the logical next elimination to me.
Don’t get me wrong, he was gracious and said that everyone feels its unfair when they get kicked off DWTS.
After he was eliminated on Tuesday’s show, he sarcastically told Us backstage, “Gosh it was unfair! I mean, I think we all feel, in some way, it is unfair when we get voted off. I think we felt for a long time that we should have gotten better scores than we did, so you’re disappointed. We’re all biased.”
He told US Magazine:
‘It’s pretty easy for me to walk away with the great things I acquired on this show and move on to the next things in life. I wish everyone else well.’
He and Brandy were the bottom two before his elimination was announced. BRANDY?? She’s dancing great. THAT was a surprise.
Of course, people are coming out of the woodwork to criticize Bristol Palin for still being on the show and for her very existence. But that’s to be expected. She obviously has a huge fan base and that’s part of the show so get over it.
Next week will be the semi-finals. Competing in those will be Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey and Brandy.
I’ll miss Kurt Warner on Dancing with the Stars. I enjoyed him and his big ham hands. Check out the dance in the video below.
