Actor Ryan Reynolds has been injured on the 'Green Lantern' movie set. He separated his shoulder. Ouch. But he's still our superhero!
The Green Lantern, based on the DC Comics of the same name, has been filming in New Orleans, Louisiana. There have been a few injuries on set. Blake Lively, who plays Reynolds' love interest in the movie tells a little about how rough filming the action movie has been.
I'm 40 feet in the air, spiraling around," she described. "That's the best workout you can ever do because it's all core. You do that for ten minutes and you should see your body the next day! It's so exhilarating, so thrilling -- and nauseating.
Lively plays Carol Ferris who manages her father's aerospace company and is the love interest of Hal Jordan (aka: The Green Lantern).
Whatever. Ryan, use your stunt double!!
Ryan Reynolds injury didn't delay filming and his should injury was called a 'minor issue'. However, he is reported to be in 'lots of pain' and putting ice on the injury.
Since he's been filming in New Orleans, he and his wife Scarlett Johansson have bought a house in Louisiana.
In spite of the fact that Ryan Reynolds was injured on the 'Green Lantern movie set, the movie is still scheduled for release in June 2011.
