Vivid Entertainment, the world's largest and award winning, adult video production company wants to release the Carrie Prejean sex video that they have in their possession. But you aren't very likely to see it for a very good reason.....they want Prejean to sign a legal agreement releasing the video.
CEO of Vivid, Steven Hirsch, wants the release to be all legal and without any chance of a lawsuit from Prejean. But Prejean is highly unlikely to sign such a release, even if there's substantial money involved. Prejean can probably make about as much money from books or speaking engagements, etc. But Prejean did lose her $1 million dollar lawsuit recently with the Miss USA Pageant, and her reputation might just as well be toast after too much controversy this week, so signing a video release for a cool dollar figure might just make good economic sense after all, but is highly unlikely.
And while Prejean claimed on the TODAY SHOW that she was just 17 at the time, Hirsch of Vivid has absolute proof that Prejean was well over 18 at the time. The sex video in question is far more recent than Prejean claims it to be.
Some other celebrity sex videos have hit the market legally because some party has signed off to release the video. For example, while Tonya Harding publicly claimed to be upset about the wedding night sex video shot of her, the fact of the matter was that much evidence exists that Harding and her former husband actually were active parties in selling the video in order to make money. The video sold many copies on Ebay and elsewhere.
The question is whether Prejean wants this video released or not? And there might be as many such sex videos that Prejean filmed out there between the ages of 19 to 20 years of age. Prejean could make a few deals if she really wants. Yet, at the same time Prejean used her new book to attack pornography. Publicly, Prejean claims to a porn critic. Privately, she makes the stuff.
But Prejean is big news these days. If she wants to cash in, then she needs to jump in while the story is in the news. Does she want to market these videos or not?
The answer is probably, no. But then again, this has been a crazy celebrity story for some months now, and stranger things have happened.

Some serious money will move this woman, because she has shown a lack of class from the beginning. Some other money bags who made doe on skin will illuminate her with the reality of hard cash, well managed, preserves better than youthful good looks.

And that's how it should be. Getting past a strained etymological debate, erotic recordings like this PRIVATELY are in no way wrong, Christian or not, at least, not in and of themselves. Such a video, made for the personal, private enjoyment of the participants, is precisely as right, or as wrong, as the sex being recorded.
Yes, she was not married, and Christians consider that wrong (though you probably know how miniscule the statistics of pemarital chastity are among young adults of all beliefs). If you yourself do not consider her (putative) sexual relationship with this turns-out-to-be scumbag is wrong, the tape is not wrong either.
She makes a tape, and, it is beyond question, has reconciled herself with God and confessed whatever wrong there is, perhaps even more than that. She lives by what she preaches. She cannot be a hypocrite under those conditions.
The big sinner is the guy, and he's getting almost no bad ink for this. Talk about hypocrisy.

Yeah, I think we pretty much know what sort of person Prajean is and that
A) There is no sex video. We just like to call it that because it reminds us of Paris Hilton and demeans her. We hate her, so we want to demean her.
B) She won't release the video of her moving in front of a camera with her clothes off because her moral character wouldn't allow her conscience to do such a thing.
So the porn industry can hope she'll change all they want, their hatred of her notwithstanding, she's not going to cave.

Uhm no, not even close to the truth.
The two parties settled for an undisclosed sum.
A settlement isn't anything close to a "loss."

Actually the rough settlement details are known, Marc. Her publicist and her lawyer will each share in about $70,000 to $100,000 in total legal and professional fees, while Prejean gets absolutely nothing, because she violated the pageant rules that she signed. Otherwise, Prejean could have gotten up to $900,000 for herself. So she gets nothing. Zilch. But according to TMZ, Vivid is now willing to offer her a huge amount of money for the sex video, perhaps over $1 million.
