Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is probably really pleased pink to find himself included in a current tabloid story in the NATIONAL EXAMINER on gay celebrities. According the story running in the July 13, 2009 issue, Rush Limbaugh learned how to "dress for success from a homosexual man who also helped get him a big break in radio". And even though Limbaugh has been known for heavy gay bashing content on his radio programs, he himself has been dogged by many rumors of a secret gay lifestyle for years. There is even one man who claims to have been sexually involved in a three month affair with Limbaugh during college, although Limbaugh actually spent little time in college before dropping out to pursue a career in radio.
While Limbaugh's sex life remains something of a matter of tabloid debate, still the latest tabloid story running in the NATIONAL EXAMINER raises new questions whether Limbaugh is a hypocrite or not, and raises some new doubts about his credibility, honesty and integrity which has been previously tarnished by the accounts of his prescription drug abuse problems.

I'm not too sure about the gay stuff, Paul, but most political shills have questionable integrity. The cigar he's puffin is a media symbol, and he is one of many that complain without offering any suggestions or solutions to social, economic, or political problems. He gets people on the air to voice opinions with reactionary commentary. That alone is a dead giveaway.

Oh, I personally doubt that Rush Limbaugh is gay myself. But I thought the latest tabloid story was sort of interesting and funny enough to report. By the way, the same magazine has attempted to make similar claims about Michelle Obama just for the record. Tabloids seem to be nonpartisan, equal opportunity thrashers of character.

So Rush is a hypocritical gay basher? You say "Limbaugh has been known for heavy gay bashing content on his radio programs." I've listened to Limbaugh since 1991 or so and I strongly disagree. He makes some jokes from time to time about Barney Frank and such, but no more so than many liberals,and comedians, do.
What are you basing that accusation on? Your first hand accounts from frequently listening to the show or the warped stereotype of Limbaugh so many on the left who never listen to him have?
And this story is news because some guy Rush knows is gay? You say you "personally doubt that Rush Limbaugh is gay," but engage in rumor and gossip insinuating that he is? Sounds to me like a lame excuse to call Limbaugh names. Seriously lame, Paul. You are better than this. Aren't you?
And another thing... why is it that those on the left are constantly attacking those on the right by accusing them of being gay? I have no reason to believe Limbaugh is gay, but even if he was, so what??
