- Giovanni Ribisi has joined the cast of Warner Independent's "The Rum Diary" starring Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart and Richard Jenkins. According to Variety, he'll play a carousing journalist in the Hunter S. Thompson adaptation.
- I don't know if anyone's watching the new "90210", but if you do you should know who Dustin Milligan is. I just hope you're not attached to him b/c he's cut starting next season. His character has "run it's course" is the official word.
- ABC is teaming with "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett for a new series that offers a bailout to struggling entrepreneurs. Burnett's "Shark Tank" is an adaptation of the U.K. reality hit "Dragon's Den" where entrepreneurs pitch their business ventures to five multimillionaire tycoons.
- Matthew McConaughey will star in legal thriller" The Lincoln Lawyer". The movies about a low-level criminal defense attorney Mickey Haller who finds himself representing a wealthy client with ties to a previous murder case Haller handled.
- John Hamm ("Mad Men") rounds out the cast for "Howl," the indie feature about the obscenity trial centering on Allen Ginsberg's famed poem. Hamm will star as defense attorney Jake Ehrlich, whose life was the inspiration for the TV series "Perry Mason."
