- A&E is seeking to one-up Sci Fi's "Ghost Hunters" with a new series called "Paranormal Cops," tentatively slated to premiere this year. It will feature a group of Chicago police officers who moonlight as ghost chasers at night.
- The "Frasier" star, Kelsey Grammer, has inked a deal to headline a new ABC comedy about a corporate tycoon who reconnects with his family after being downsized out of his powerful job. The yet named show is an adaptation of the Britcom "Roman's Empire."
- Word is Bryan Singer's "Superman" reboot will bring back the battle between the man of steel and General Zod. Apparently Warner Bros are hearing all sorts of pitches right now from prospective "Superman II" writers.
- A CW spokesperson confirms that Tori Spelling is in "final negotiations" to reprise her role of Donna Martin on the suprise reprise 90210.
- Mickey Rourke is in talks to play the main heavy in "Iron Man 2," the Marvel Entertainment sequel that director Jon Favreau begins shooting this spring.
- Showtime is developing an hourlong project from comicbook icon Stan Lee that tracks the life of a gay superhero. The story focuses on an up-and-coming superhero who struggles to hide his secret identities, is based on the book "Hero" by Perry Moore.
