A 43-year-old Wilmington man allegedly stole millions of dollars while working as the business manager for the comedian and actor Dane Cook.
Darryl McCauley, who is Cook's half-brother, is facing charges of larceny over $250, larceny by continuous scheme, and forgery.
The attorney general's office announced the charges against McCauley this afternoon without identifying the "national entertainer with local ties" he allegedly bilked.
McCauley allegedly stole the money from July 2007 to this month, at one point forging a $3 million check from his client's account to himself, the attorney general's office said.
The entire incident is rather apropo since Cook has been accused by many comedians of stealing much of his material. The real crime is that Cook has millions to steal.

He actually MADE "millions of Dollars" between July 07 and now?!
Maybe THAT's the bigger crime here.

Oops, you made that point. I probably should have read the whole article before ranting.
Nonetheless, I stand by my redundant comment!

What? People actually paid millions for what Dane Cook considered to be comedy or acting?
I concur with the opinions here.
