- Ben Stiller says there could be a Zoolander II in the works. He said he's seen some scripts and when a good one comes along he'll bite. No word on whether Owen 'Hansel' Wilson will be on board. It's not a movie without him. Oh, and he's also eying Fockers 3 scripts.
- Megan Mullally, Kelsey Grammer, Charles S. Dutton, Bebe Neuwirth and Debbie Allen have been secured for roles in the upcoming "Fame" movie. The film has a $25 million budget and a Sept. 25 2009 release date.
- Shia LaBeouf has inked a deal to star in "The Associate", Paramount Pictures' upcoming legal-thriller based on the John Grishman book of the same name - a book, mind you, that isn't on shelves until January.
- Let me see if I can get this right..."Genesis: Apes" is the soon to be made prequel to Planet of the Apes is the remake of the previously made prequel to Planet of the Apes. If that wasn't confusing enough, Fox honcho Tom Rothman explains it " this one a kind of prequel story before the first story, with a return to the social thematics that mark the first one, but with an entirely contemporary setting - Earth 2009".
- Hold on to your bonnet. From the very lips of Steve Guttenberg, "Tom Selleck, Ted Danson and I are looking to make another Three Men And A Baby movie. It's called Three Men And A Bride. The script is pretty much written and we are really keen to get that made."
- Circle December 09th on your calendar. That's the day you can pick up a dozen copies of The Dark Knight for Christmas presents.
