- Universal is moving ahead with its fourth installment of "The Bourne Identity" franchise. Director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon are attached to the new film.
- Warner Bros. and Brad Pitt are teaming with George Miller to adapt the Greek poet's other masterwork, "The Odyssey." Additionally, Michael Lewis' nonfiction bestseller "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game," is being developed as a starring vehicle for Brad Pitt.
- Christina Ricci and Liam Neeson will topline psychological thriller After.Life which centers on a young woman caught between life and death and a funeral director who appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead. Filming starts November.
- It seems like a given but Mad Men fans will happy to hear the AMC series has been green lit for a third season.
- In pilot news, NBC gives us "Crusoe," about the sole survivor of a shipwreck who makes friends with an island native whose life our survivor saved from a group of cannibals. Frequent flashbacks piece together the story of how Crusoe got into this mess.
