Talk show host Glenn Beck is leaving CNN Headline News for a multiyear deal with Fox News.
Beginning next spring, Beck will host the channel's 5 p.m. weekday program as well as a weekend show.
Beck hosts a self-titled talk show on CNN Headline News that has enjoyed strong ratings growth airing in the 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. time slots.
He also hosts a nationally syndicated daily radio show, "The Glenn Beck Program."
"As we embark on a new political landscape, Glenn's thought-provoking commentary will complement an already stellar lineup of stars at Fox News," said Roger Ailes, chairman and CEO of Fox News.
At 5 p.m., Beck will succeed "America's Election HQ," the election-themed program that was put on air after the cancellation of "The Big Story."

Glenn Beck will be miss, but I am glad he is
moving to Fox News because I watch Fox more
than those Libs, CNN and MSNBC.
Only time I watch CNN is when Glenn Beck was
on.

Too bad that he is moving. What is the point of his message in an aduience that agrees with him any way. He may not have reached so many at CNN but if he managed to open the eyes of only a few viewers every week it was more than worth it.
He is simply going to be preaching to the converted now ... that's the easy way out

I'm going to miss Glenn Beck. I don't mind so much that he's going to Fox, but why have him on at 5:00? Most people are either at work or on the way home at that time. Wether or not you agree with Glenn, at least he has the balls to speak out and speak up. Long live America, land of the free!!

Glen is a thinker, and a true American Patriot. His views are spot on, and he's an independent with common sense; something that is seriously lacking these days, especially from the liberally biased media. Liberals will call him trailer trash because they are told that by the likes of Olbermann, and Maddow, and the rest of the leftist propaganda hacks who call themselves journalist. The news in this country is not news, it is indoctrination of a new Socialist order and agenda. Middle America is sick and tired of this filthy ilk. I see a Revolution on the horizon.
