- M. Night Shyamalan's disapointing road to obscurity may be going into overdrive. Word is he plans to make a follow up to Unbreakable, his 2000 movie, starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.
- The life story of Dodgers' manager Tommy Lasorda is reported on the "fast track for development" at Miramax with Al Pacino having "expressed interest" in playing the famously irascible Lasorda with Michelle Pfeiffer a "possibility" as his wife. Hows that for confirmation?
- Cinema Blend is reporting that Tim Burton could be directing ''Pirates of the Caribbean 4''. Geoffrey Rush is said to be rejoining Depp for the new flick (no word on Keira or Orlando - chances are they're both out) and Disney is on the hunt for a name to play Sparrow's brother in the film.
- Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham-Carter have joined Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland". Hathaway will play the White Queen with Bonham-Carter as the Red Queen. The movie also stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.
