- "Bull Durham" sequel is getting made. Kevin Costner will reprise the role of catcher Crash Davis from the 1988 baseball flick. Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon are also expected to return as pitcher Nuke LaLoosh and Annie Savoy, who are now married and owners of a Major League team that Costner manages.
- Kevin Bacon is preparing a series for Showtime that centers on the man who would eventually assassinate Abraham Lincoln. "The Booths" will revolve around actor-brothers Edwin, Junius Brutus Jr. and John Wilkes Booth and their dysfunctional relationship in the years prior to Lincoln's assassination.
- Woody Harrelson will star in Columbia Pictures' horror comedy Zombieland, about a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies.
- Bram Stoker's great-grandnephew Dacre Stoker and award-winning "Dracula" documentarian and historian Ian Holt have sold North American-English publishing rights of the Stoker-family-authorized sequel to Bram's classic novel "Dracula" to an alliance of Dutton U.S., Harper U.K. and Penguin-Canada.
- British actress Kate Winslet is to portray fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in an upcoming movie of her life. Winslet has been cast to play British icon Westwood in the Universal film, which will document the designer's rise to fame in the 1970s to the present day.
- Harrison Ford confirms Indiana Jones 5 by saying "It's crazy but great. ... George is in think mode right now" about Indy V. Ford continued, "It's automatic, really, we did well with the last one and with that having done well and been a positive experience, it's not surprising that some people want to do it again."
