- Paris Hilton donated an unknown amount of money to the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles to trick out patient rooms used by children with cancer. The obvious publicity stunt aside, this is really very sweet. Here
- On a related note, Paris' grandfather William Barron Hilton was named America's Top Philanthropists of 2007. He donated a total of 1.2 billion to people other than me. List here.
- Verne Troyer has filed a $20 million lawsuit, claiming TMZ violated his rights by publishing and airing portions of his gruesome sex tape. I should get a chunk of that just for seeing the film stills. here
- Ben Affleck spent some time in Africa's Democratic Republic of Congo where he met with refugees who he described as "teachers, farmers, real, regular people like you and I." Umm... fuck you Ben Affleck. here
