Runaway Bride's ex Fiance gets Married (Wizbang Pop!)

John Mason, who was once engaged to Jennifer Wilbanks (a.k.a the "Runaway Bride"), has gotten married - but not to Wilbanks.

Mason, 35, and Shelley Martin, 34, wed in a quiet ceremony in front of their families at his parents' home in Duluth, Ga. on Sat. March 15.

"We were very, very happy for him," says Claude Mason, the groom's father, who officiated at the ceremony. Claude is an attorney who also serves as an associate municipal judge in Suwanee, Ga.

The groom's mother, Vicki, oversaw the wedding's floral arrangements, which included lots of pink roses.

In April 2005, Mason's wedding to Wilbanks was canceled after she disappeared just four days before they were to exchange vows. It was later revealed that she faked her own kidnapping.
