
- Celebrity lifestyle weekly In Touch received the horror world's first look at Corey Feldman and Shaun Sipos in The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, the direct-to-DVD Warner Bros. sequel hitting next year.
- Jack Nicholson told MTV there's an outline for a second sequel to "Chinatown" somewhere buried under a pile of papers at Robert Towne's place. If Paramount wanted to do it, Nicholson says he'd commit instantly.
- Jennifer Connelly has joined Keanu Reeves for the ''Day The Earth Stood Still'' remake, according to Variety. Connelly is set to portray Helen Benson, the role Patricia Neal played in the 1951 original. Fox has set a December start date in Vancouver.
- Michelle Pfeiffer will play the lead in writer/director David Hollander's "Personal Effects", based on a novella about two strangers, Linda and Walter, who have both lost family members to murder. Their respective court cases bring them together. Ashton Kutcher is rumored to be Walter.
- Variety has no love for Vince Vaughns new films writing: Whatever potential existed has been squandered and then some in "Fred Claus," dumping coal into everyone's holiday stocking.
- Sony Pictures has launched the new site for The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, the fantasy-adventure opening in theaters on Christmas Day.
