Clooney and GF in Hospital After Motorcycle Crash

George Clooney has broken his rib after his motorbike collided with a car on a road near New York.

Clooney and his passenger, girlfriend Sarah Larson, were both taken to hospital after the incident on a narrow road in New Jersey, across the Hudson river from New York City. They have both now been released.

Miss Larson, 28, recently texted her boss to resign from her job as a waitress so she could travel the world with Clooney. She suffered a broken foot in the crash, which happened at 3.30pm in the afternoon.

Clooney's spokesman Stan Rosenfield said: "He's doing fine. He has a broken rib, it's very painful and it'll take a long time to heal."

Thank goodness they were not injured worse. I like motorbikes too. But I had a serious motor scooter accident back in August when a pot hole caused sudden damage to my steering and I got thrown over the handle bars and run over by own bike, leaving me with 18 assorted injuries to my ribs, collar bone, hands and both knees.

Motorcycles and motor scooters are great fun. But you have to on alert every second to prevent an accident. Any biker has to assume that motorists may not see you and act accordingly. Also be very wary of bicyclists. Most ignore stop signs or run lights or dangerously try to compete with a motorcycle on corners or other critical areas. 67% of bicyclists cause themselves single vehicle accidents compared to less than 5% of any motorists. Bicyclists are the worst drivers on the road by far and present a huge danger to motorcyclists because of their poor riding skills and competing for the same road space of a motorcycle instead of waiting their turn or safely spacing out on the road.

Any motorcyclist is licensed and has insurance, compared to bicyclists with no education in proper riding skills or other accident prevention skills.

Clooney's accident is under investigation who was really at fault. But he needed to be more aware of conditions around him and keep a safe spacing from any car on the road in the event of a sudden turn because of the car mirrors blind spot. If you're careful, motorcycles can be a real ball. If you're not careful, then you end injured or worse.

On the west coast we have bicycle lanes, for bicycles. Most people commonly refer to them as 'cell phone drift lanes', because when they're riding their bike and get run over, it's because the person that hit them was on the cell phone drifting into the cycling lane!

Donor-cycles are dangerous, just make sure your family knows that you want to donate your organs before riding one. Society will thank you.

C'mom folks, the REAL news is he picked up a Bimbo Waitress half his age who was going to "travel the world" with him. How much you wanna bet that now she has a great suit for him damaging her ankle so she can never wait or dance again, that she has second thoughts and a nice out of court settle ment in the wings?
