So the madness of Hardaway's comments continues to flow through the news like a long pink shaft of a river. Wonkette posted an excerpt from a CWA (Concerned Women of America) statement made regarding Hardaways lack of tact in trashing the gay lifestyle.
"Hardaway's comments are both unfortunate and inappropriate," said Matt Barber, CWA's Policy Director for Cultural Issues. "They provide political fodder for those who wish to paint all opposition to the homosexual lifestyle as being rooted in 'hate' ... His words do not represent the feelings of the vast majority of people opposed to the homosexual agenda. It's perfectly natural for people to be repelled by disordered sexual behaviors that are both unnatural, and immoral ... However, the appropriate reaction is to respond with words and acts of love, not words of hate. Jesus Christ offers forgiveness and freedom for all sinners, and that is the heart of the Gospel message. Thousands of former homosexuals have been freed from the homosexual lifestyle through acts of love.
Clearly CWA feels you can drive a truck through the line between 'hate' and 'repell'. But I'm still deeply confused by the constant reference to the 'gay agenda'. Don't get me wrong... I know gay men have an agenda. It's to sleep with other gay men. I just don't see why that concerns the CWA... Or do I? Dun dun dunnnnnn.

Has more credence been given to such an insignificant person before? I know what he said is shocking to some, although I'm sure more people think that then would say it, but really who cares what Tim Hardaway thinks.

Reading comprehension is your friend, Tracey. It concerns CWA because as they wrote;
"They provide political fodder for those who wish to paint all opposition to the homosexual lifestyle as being rooted in 'hate' "

Baggi, Tracey asked why CWA was concerned with the gay agenda. The statement you quoted is why the CWA is concerned with Hardaways statement.
Reading comprehension.
