THE LADIES IN RED

That first show on the catwalks at Bryant Park was the Heart Truth show, an annual event in which celebrities wear red dresses created for them by famous designers. Heart Truth is part of the Red Dress project, a federal initiative spearheaded by first lady Laura Bush, to raise awareness about heart disease.

Kristin Chenoweth wearing Rebecca Taylor, Kim Cattrall by Carolina Herrera, Kelly Ripa in Diane von Furstenberg, Jane Krakowski in Zac Posen, Danica Patrick by Jovovich-Hawk , Katharine McPhee in a Swarovski minidress with over 79 000 crystals, Angela Bassett in Carmen Marc Valvo, Rachel Ray in Donna Karan & Marlee Matlin by Douglas Hannant.
