I saw a bit of Janet Jackso... (Below threshold)1. Posted by langtry | December 5, 2006 12:08 PM | Score: 0 (0 votes cast)
I saw a bit of Janet Jackson's "performance" if you can call it that, and I am astonished at just how dated her whole act is.
For one, she can't sing. Breathy, fragile and inert is how I'd classify her 'little girl' singing. And she's still doing those 80's-era Paula Abdul choreography! I'm embarassed that this passes for pop music today.

This has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time, and I just have to share it. Why is is that whenever there is a music awards show, like say this one that is being aired on TV, the networks feel the need to pad the presenters with non musical acts like Kathy Griffin, Carmen Electra and Denise Richards? I mean come on now! Just because two of those three have had relationships with a musician does that make them someone you want to have hanging out to get ratings? And Kathy Griffin...yeah nothing screams I need the cash like an appearance by her anywhere.
