There's not much modesty in the "fashion world". I've been backstage at several fashion shows and the emphasis has always been to get out of one outfit and into the next as quickly as possible. That means that, outside of a thong, the models are pretty much naked. Unless the show is specifically for/about lingerie, there's none to speak of as the lines and outlines interfere with what the designer's trying to say.
If the only opportunity to change clothing between two locations where the emphasis is on fashion, then it means clothes will be changed in the car. If the driver was upset, maybe it's time to get a new driver. Or maybe a vehicle with a screen between the driver and the passenger compartment.
