So anyone that dosen't like Israel bombing the f**k out of Lebanon automatically becomes equal to Hitler? There's no room for disagreement or debate or an anti-war stance? Mel has to completely agree with Israel or else he's Hitler? Nice....

Hasn't Pat Buchanan been telling us that Israel is the cause of all the wars in the world for years?
And isn't there more than a whiff of truth to it?

Kitty,
The man is an anti-semtic A-hole who deserves whatever he gets in this life and the next. I for one believe that what you say while you are drunk is what is really whats in your heart, 'cuz once that "I-shoudn't-say-this- in-public" valve is turned off by the booze, everything comes pouring out. So from Mr. Gibson's POV ,WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, The Faulkens, Desert Storm, etc, was all the Jews fault. If someone swore to push you into the sea, and continually crossed your borders to snatch or kill your citizens you would just stand back and watch. What Israel is doing is not a war, what they are doing is bitch slapping a group of bullys, you want to see a war, let Syria and Iran get involved, then you'll see Israel do some damage. Fuck Gibson, fuck his movies. Shalom mother-fuckers

Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?
I'm not convinced that Gibson is or is not anti-Semitic, and frankly I don't much care.

This is pathetic.
When the guy was drunk he said stupid things. Have you ever been drunk and said stupid things?
The difference is, when he became sober he apologized for saying those stupid things.

Baggi, you ass... yea, he said some hatefull things when he was drunk. And then apologized. Remind me later that that's all I need to do when I get drunk and run you down with a car.

Sticks and Cars will break my bones but words will not hurt me.
I'd rather have a Mel Gibson who slanders me verbally but doesn't harm me than a Lori who stays quiet but then runs me over with her car. Ouch!

This whole post is ridiculous.
There's a difference between saying something and running someone down with a car.
Speaking of which ... Patrick Kennedy crashed his car into a police car while he was drunk, and not only was he NOT breathalized, the cop drove him home! Most of us on the right, regardless of politics, wished him well with his rehab. Then after a slap of the wrist, he was back to work in DC.
