As Breaking as it gets in this business, This Just In: A press release sent to PopWizBang announces the resignation of Miu von F as Editor from A Socialite Life. More on her replacement, Lisa Timmons after the jump.
After nearly three years at the helm of A Socialite's Life, Miu von Furstenberg is calling it quits, as she steps down as "the voice" of A Socialite's Life. However, the gossip will go on with A Socialite's Life's new editor Lisa Timmons. Lisa Timmons is based in Hollywood, and comes from a television publicity and writing background, having worked for Warner Brothers/Telepicture Productions, FOX Television Studios, and 20th Century Fox.Here is Miu von Furstenberg's goodbye post:
If only Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men were performing this song while you, my dear readers, are reading my final post for A Socialite's Life. With deep regret, and sheer exhaustion, I am retiring my grammatically error riddled blogging fingers forever. Thanks for putting up with me for these last three years (almost), this has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Try not to let your emotions get out of hand with the news. If need be, you can be there for each other if you're overwrought with shock and emotion. Why not turn the comments section for this post into a little support group, for those of you that feel you need it. Just try not to be too bitchy. Oh who am I kidding, when are you not bitchy?
Don't fret - the blog will go on! I leave you in good hands. My successor knows the difference between it's and its, and actually cares that there is a difference. I'm overdue for for some much needed R&R. Contrary to rumor, I am not taking Star Jones' spot on "The View." So while I head off to Passages (I hear you can score some amazing drugs there) to rejuvenate the liver, I implore each of you to have several vodka martini's (dirty of course) on my behalf daily while you peruse A Socialite's Life.
It saddens me that I won't be able to report on Britney Spears' future divorces and weddings, Lindsay Lohan's probable drug scandal, the first photo of Suri Cruise, and Tara Reid getting that first positive review. So with a lump in my throat, and knowing that the gossip will go on without me, I bid you adieu.
"Cheers, yeah, thanks a lot" - Pasty Stone

ABOUT LISA TIMMONS:
Lisa Timmons has been living in Los Angeles for the past four years, since graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. Her dream of writing for television seems just out of reach as of yet, but not to worry, eventually she'll finish the latest draft of her one-hour comedic pilot and will probably force you to read it for notes.
For now, she's putting her writing skills toward blogging, for both her personal blog Office Monkey (http://www.officemonkeyblog.com), as well as for A Socialite's Life.
Lisa is a Capricorn, speaks German fluently, taught herself how to juggle one summer when she was bored and likes guys who aren't afraid to cry. She lives in Hollywood in a hipster building and knows that even though she gets to work from home, she's still not yet ready for a pet.
