Axl Rose in a Swedish Prison?

UPDATE: from People.com

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose was arrested in Stockholm early Tuesday after allegedly biting a security guard in the leg outside his hotel, the Associated Press reports.

Rose was being held on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard, as well as causing damage to the Berns Hotel where the alleged dust-up took place around 8 a.m., police spokesperson Towe Hagg told the AP.

The singer was intoxicated at the time of the confrontation, Haag said, and will face questioning after he sobers up. "He was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away," she said. A prosecutor will then decide whether to press charges.

It was not what started the fight, but Swedish tabloids said the guard attempted to step in when Rose, 44, began arguing with a woman in the hotel lobby.

One of the officers who arrested Rose, Fredrik Nylen, was quoted on the Aftonbladet news Web site as saying that the rocker had behaved aggressively toward police and had to be "handcuffed and restrained" in the hotel, the AP reports.

Guns N' Roses played a concert in the Swedish capital's Globe Arena Monday night, and Rose had been partying at a popular nightclub before the Tuesday morning incident, according to the Aftonbladet story.

On May 19, Rose was involved in another altercation, with designer Tommy Hilfiger, 55, at a birthday party for actress Rosario Dawson. Sources told PEOPLE the brawl at the club Plumm began when Hilfiger tried to stop Rose from moving Hilfiger's girlfriend's drink.

Security guards kicked Hilfiger out after he hit Rose in the eye. Rose later took the stage and dedicated the GN'R song "You're Crazy" to Hilfiger. "Everyone laughed," said a witness.

Tim:

Yes it's true. Not brushing your teeth for months until they turn green is a violation of Swedish law.
