Actress Selma Blair has filed for divorce from her husband of two years actor Ahmet Zappa.A spokesperson for the couple, Troy Nankin said to People magazine: "Selma and Ahmet have decided to divorce but love each other very much and will continue to be close friends,"
The couple married in 2004 at the LA home of Carrie Fisher after a six month relationship.
Blair will be starring alongside Debra Messing in the new Edward Burns film 'Purple Violets'.
Zappa, the son of musical legend Frank Zappa is releasing a children's book 'The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless', on July 25.
