peta is all about hypocricy, propaganda, cheap publicity stunts and nothing about the truth. this organization is big business with 60 million dollars in the bank to destroy legitimate, tax paying businesses and push their all emcompassing agenda of total non-animal use. very scary stuff and very dangerous to the world as we knbow it.

They didn't ambush her at all and were not at all unfriendly to her. They simply asked her a few questions and did not hurl any abuse at her. If you knew how animals were killed for their fur maybe you would think differently. They are skinned alive, beaten repeatedly against concrete floors etc. Do you really want to wear something that died like that? It is not unreasonable for PETA (or anyone else) to PAY (a large sum of money in fact) for the privilege of having dinner with Knowles and then attempt to discuss matters of interest to the person who has put up the money.

Unfortunately, celebrities use charity functions such as this as a guise-- simply to create publicity for themselves, but when you sell yourself in this way, you do run the risk of having to entertain undesirable dining companions -- that's part of the deal! You grin and bear it. As long as the conversation was civil (and it was --you can view the video), Knowles should have been open to discussing issues that were of interest to her "guests" or at least listening silently.

The auction-winners paid for the time, they should have been able to use it.

They had the right to talk to her and ask her questions, it just so happens beyonce doesnt have the guts to answer them and instead had them escorted out. It WAS an ambush because PETA went there under false premises and filmed Beyonce without her knowledge. Whether winning the auction to have dinner entitled them to discuss whatever they wanted to or not it didn't say, 'you can film the whole thing'. PETA used deception. That in itself is an ambush. And they used offensive images at a dinner like the morons they are.
