HILARY DUFF insists punk rocker boyfriend JOEL MADDEN will have to put a wedding ring on her finger before he gets the chance to bed her - because she plans to stay a virgin until her wedding night.The 18-year-old pop star/actress has revealed she has never had sex and is upset when fans automatically assume she and GOOD CHARLOTTE star Madden are bedmates.
She says, "It's harder having a boyfriend who's older because people just assume.

First, they may be a morality clause in her record contract. (Doesn't she record for Disney!) Second, Joel Madden is no real punk rocker as punk is more an attitude than a fashion statement. Third, Hilary is obsessed with her image. see above.
Imagine the scandal if it was found that she was doing drugs, having sex or even acting obnoxious. I am not going to tear her apart but I think that she is a very calculating person.
I know someone who posted to a Hilary Duff board on IMdb(I am dumb!). Anyway, one time there was a thread about knowing famous people. Well, Lori always had nice things to say about HD and she got a private message from this girl who told her she was going out with Joel Madden. This was in 2003 and it turns out they have been involved with each other since that time. Of course they had to keep it a secret until they could figure out how to be a puublic item without fallout.

Honestly, what does it matter. ppl think that since a couple is together they automatically have to have sex. If she wants to wait, let her!
