Well, rumor has it that Invasion may be picked up by the new CW network (CBS and Warner Bros upcoming venture). If that pans out, Invasion fans can rejoice in that we'll see a resoultion to "the cliff hanger of all cliff hangers"

Invasion started way too slow like the X-files conspiracy plots, but it became much more interesting as what was going on became more apparent. Humans versus hybrids, a classic Gothic transformation with great racial prejudice undertones.

Now that I'm finally hooked, they want to cancel it? That's what I get for trusting TV execs...

ABC sucks. How can you cancel a great show like Invasion. If anyone remembers....Lost was quite a pice of crap the first season and now it has cult following. First ime in years ABC has had a show worth watching. DORKS!

I loved INVASION. There are few shows that are different from CSI and Law and Order, over and over again. This show had lots of action and also great characters. I think it is the time slot that they need to rethink, not losing the show. Look at Friday night. I remember that used to be when V was on. And V, as I recall did awesome!!!!

I am so sick of getting into a show and then having it cancelled after one season. Why would anyone watch a new show if you are going to get screwed once you get into it? Joan of Arcadia, Threshold, and now Invasion. I loved invasion and was really looking forward to the next season. This sucks,,,no wonder new shows never make it....they don't give them a chance anymore.

It really is too bad Invasion was cancelled. I loved the show. I only committ to a few years per week and I hate that there are so many new ones each year. I found out it is better to not watch as many (because they get canexed anyway) and then just watch the reruns on cable such as 24. I have been through two seasons in a couple of months this way. It is all about money anyway, it does not matter if a show is good or not, it just matters how much money it makes--too bad.

I just really got involved mid-season and finished watching the final episode last night, which I loved. I did not know it had been cancelled. It seems so many good shows come in but with local or other networks changing times or nights due to seasonal stuff, usually sports, or weather-related offs with extremely early a.m. or very late p.m. reschedules, it seems it would be hard to get an accurate read on show popularity to me. Also, I don't know how they expect to get a solid following with just a few first run episodes in a row and then you may or may not see the show for the next two or three weeks because of rescheduling, other special programming, etc. and then suddenly it has been cancelled. They would probably flip if they put a show on and played all the first run episodes without ANY interruption by any network. It would probably have amazing results.

Everyone please sign petition let ABC know we loved this show it deserves a second chance but this time leave it alone & hey move it up an hour.

There is a real bad habit that the networks are getting into. They are putting shows on for a couple of weeks, then putting something else on for several weeks before switching back. I'm seeing this happen more often. ABC is the worst. They messed with NYPD Blue by splitting its time slot and it hurt both shows. American viewers are to blame though. When Gray's Anatomy becomes a huge hit, whose fault is it? Story lines are so fake the show should be a cartoon, yet everyone watches. A thinking person's show like Invasion gets the shaft without being given much of a chance in the first place.

That's it. Both Invasion and Conviction cancelled. Won't be watching any more first run TV come September. I'll catch up on interesting series once they come out on DVD after I know what to invest my entertainment time in.

What a load of crap!!! I can't believe Conviction was cancelled. It was a compelling derivitive from Law & Order for the younger crew. Just what we should have expected from the bogus networks...who control the ratings by messing with the show schedules and time slots...how can any new show expect to make it.

Cant a Tv network finish a show that they start. WTF.

Another shot in the ass for Science fiction

Hey this load of bull$#!+ has been going on for a while now. my parents were into gilligans island, and it got canceled only to make room for another show. it finshed.... 11 years later when a smart person wanted it done! if they don't continue the series, at least have a huge closer episode!

I watched both Invasion and Surface. Out of the two cancellations I'll miss Surface more. I'm getting fed up with watchig really enjoyable new shows only to see them killed long before their story is told. No wonder free to air TV is loosing more and more viewers every year. They only have themselves to blame.

Invasion getting cancelled sucks. I didnt know about it's possible ending until after I saw the final episode.

The first comment was correct - if the networks didnt keep cutting these shows off to start new ones, viewers would stick by. I never knew when a new episode was going to start! Same thing with LOST - there's been weeks between new episodes, and it's annoying.

I hope someone picks it up, or they do what they did to Firefly and Farscape, and make a movie, whether it be silver screen or made for TV, to tie up loose ends.

I can't believe they canceled Invasion. I'm 54 years old, this was one of my favorite shows. Who decides these things? My other favorites are dancing with the stars, d housewives, house, surface, greys's a, all the great ones, I can't be wrong. You, whoever, you are, are making a lot of people angry. Not even an ending, for all of us who wathched every week.

Not meaning to be rude I'm torn up about what the networks have done with Invasion too,
