Someone finally asked Jennifer Aniston about the rumor that she was going to marry Vince Vaughn at Oprah's California estate this summer. People.com reports on the interview.
Things grew tense on Tuesday morning's Today show when Jennifer Aniston was asked about a rumor that Oprah Winfrey was planning to throw an $8 million wedding for her and boyfriend Vince Vaughn.
"I thought you weren't going to go there," Catherine Keener, Aniston's costar in the new movie Friends with Money, said to Today entertainment reporter Jill Rappaport as Aniston and costar Joan Cusack looked on silently.When Rappaport asked the question, Aniston had just finished saying she didn't mind giving interviews, so long as the topic was the movie, not her love life.
..Rappaport acknowledged Keener's instinct to protect Aniston, but said she was still curious about the rumors because she herself had never been to an $8 million wedding.
"And now you won't be," said Keener, as Aniston remained tight-lipped.
Nice zinger from Keener.
On the discomfort scale the Aniston interview isn't even in the same leagued as The View's Joy Behar questioning Big Love star Chloe Sevigny about the her infamous role as Vincent Gallo's jizz receptacle in Brown Bunny...

Aniston is an absolute PR tragedy.On week she is spilling her guts and then when people feel sorry for her and it gets all out of hand she turns around in the next breath and says it's an "obsessed entertainment Hollywood", which I believe is her industry isn't it and what brings home her bacon.......? Then she swivels her head 360 and critisizes her fans who buy all the gossip on her as "making her skin crawl......" then comes out with the Oprah crap.. and Catherine Keener has to jump to her defense so the rest of the show doesn't go into another PR disaster.
Cathereine Keener is going through a divorce herself why doesn't anyone ask her how her life is going? JA has PR'd herself into one pathetic looser.
