There is NO verification about the Clay Aiken story, and NO verification of 9 Claymates threatening to sue.
It all was posted on the Perez site, by the one and only John Paulus. Every little tidbit, has been instigated by he, and the idiots at the Perez site.

This story is half truthful. What happened was John promised Clay a date with the gorgeous and perfect Aria Giovanni (who happens to be an adult star) Clay had pictures of her on his computer (even people who know Clay have said she was on his desktop at one time). They were gonna meet at a hotel because Aria was flying in. Aria (who like Clay, swings both ways) couldn't make it because her husband said she couldn't get involved with Clay or something. I guess John arranged an encounter with her or something. Clay told people that he was "bisexual" for the past two years, so if you think John is lying about the entire story, you are wrong.

Clay did not decorate that dressing room on AI. The people on the show did that and Clay did not like it. He didn't know they were going to do it.

Clay is at most bisexual. My roomate at school slept with him.They kinda dated for like 2-3 months. Nothing major. And SHE said he is, well, gifted in more ways then his voice. This was right before AI.

That wasn't Clay Aiken who met with Paulus in the motel. It was a drag queen who does a very good impersonation of Clay and who is good friends of John P. and his sister who happens to be a Kelly Clarkson fan on the Express. The whole story was cooked up over there.

I googled drag queen and clay aiken and found someone named Coti Collins.

He has performed in Raleigh at a club called Legends.

Coti Collins does a Clay impersonation in his act, H's well known in the Raleigh area. This whole thing is a set up.

If you were any kind of journalist you would have checked out the story further and found out that Clay was NOT even in Raleigh at the time Paulus says he hooked up with him. Clay was in New York, but like most lazy journalists you wouldn't bother to check that out. It is so easy to pass lies and rumors on the internet. You have certainly helped do your part. Clay has said numerous time that he is NOT gay, but people will believe what they want to believe, and make up lies.

This is so sad. What has Clay ever done to you to deserve this kind of treatment? The man has done nothing but good things. I live in Raleigh, work in the restaurant business and so have many gay friends. I have been to the drag shows and know how close some of them can look and act like the person they are portaying. I have never seen Coti Collins do his Clay act but have seen him do many other performers. I can tell you that I have no trouble believing this whole thing is a bunch of CRAP.

This is the stupedest story ever. I cant believe you people are so stuped to write this crap. Clay Aiken is probably just laughing at these stories, just like iam. I love you clay!

This stoy is getting old and is not really worth even commenting on as Clay is not commenting. I do not believe Clay is gay and I think the reason he has not commented on this stupid accusation is because it is not worth doing so. Why subject himself. He knows the truth and that's all that matters. I'm sure he knows that his fans will not take this story seriously. I am more of a Clay fan than ever.

Clay Aiken is bisexual. Why do you think he denied rumors being gay but, never admitted he was straight? Hellooooooooooooooo, the man likes both.

I am in agreement that Clay is bisexual. I did see the Diane Sawyer interview and the way he reacted to the question, he was hestitant but you never see him admit he is straight either.

It's really disturbing how Clay looks really desperate in his webcam pictures. I think that is what makes them disgusting. Webcam pictures are misleading 100% and can make a person either look better or worse and in Clay's case, he looks worse than how he looks in person.

I think Clay likes both and just doesn't want to admit he does so he is silent about it. He says he isn't gay because he thinks bisexual and gay are different (which they are) but some people would believe being bisexual is really wild and since Clay is a Christian, that would be kind of weird for his career.

If anything, this whole thing is making Clay more popular.

I don't think it's really fans that filed the FTC complaint because none of the online fans know who these people are, and as they say they're from all over the country they must be online. It's a sad fact that there are a handful of Clay haters out there who try and cause trouble for him and are succeeding big time. There's an ex-fan who hates him because he didn't personally thank her for a large donation to his charity two years ago. There's an elderly male Kelly Clarkson fan who is so screwed up he wants Clay dead. They are the most psychotic, but there are others, and I believe one or all of them are behind the FTC complaint, not actual fans. Most of the fans have their heads in the sand and don't believe the allegations.

BTW, I'm not a Claymate. I am a big fan, but I think Clay is gay and the allegations are probably true.
